Opened in April 2009, the gallery is governed by a Selection Committee that believes in supporting regional artists. A Mano Libera Gallery aims to create a distinctive venue in St. Catharines where artists can be promoted and sell their work. The Committee is looking to utilize the exhibit space in a well-balanced mix of paintings, sculpture, photography and installations with continually-changing exhibits, every 6 to 8 weeks.

The Committee is open to collaborations.

The gallery welcomes submissions from contemporary artists for upcoming shows in 2011-2012.
