I am an abstract artist. Challenging and inventing new ways to use acrylic paint is an ongoing process for me, and it's what drives me to create. I'm constantly searching for methods outside the norm to express myself. I take the medium into unfamiliar practices, and push it to create a new language for itself. Colour, texture and depth are the tools I use to bridge the unorthodox and traditional acts of painting. Leaving myself open to chance and mistakes is an integral part of my process, as it gives way to new ideas. The creation of a new voice, my voice, is what propels me to continue this quest.
